From May 3–6, I had the opportunity to join our church’s Washington, D.C. prayer walk mission trip. We visited more than 20 important government buildings, monuments, and historic sites. Although I have lived in the United States as an immigrant for 30 years, this was my very first visit to our nation’s capital. During the three days of prayer walking in Washington, D.C., we traveled to many places, passing government agencies, historic buildings, and museums filled with stories from America’s past. As a first-time visitor, I experienced many surprises. Through what I saw with my eyes, heard with my ears, and felt in my heart, I reflected on the 250-year history of the United States.

On July 4, 1776, under the name of God, the United States was founded as a Christian nation. Throughout its history, America has experienced both triumphs and hardships. In both success and failure, I see God’s hand of protection and His loving discipline. God desires for America to be like a city set on a hill, shining His light to the world, displaying the truth and glory of Christ so that people may come to know Him, follow Jesus, receive the blessings of the gospel, and be delivered from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light.

At each government department and landmark, we prayed, blessed, and interceded. As we did so, I found that after 30 years of living in this country, I developed a much deeper emotional connection with and appreciation for America. While touring the White House, we saw many quotations from former presidents expressing their hopes for future generations. One statement expressed the desire that those who govern from the White House would possess wisdom and integrity. Those who came before us looked ahead with hope and blessed those who would follow. As those who came later, we remember these leaders, receive their blessings, and seek to follow their example of loving God and valuing this nation. It was a beautiful connection across generations, and I was deeply moved to tears.

Throughout history, there has always been a conflict between two kingdoms: darkness and light, Satan and Christ. Satan disguises himself as an angel of light and seeks to bring destruction and confusion into America’s politics and society through lies, manipulation, deception, and even moral coercion. Under the banner of love, injustice can sometimes be justified while those with tender consciences are silenced. At times, America can seem like a dimly burning lamp or a bruised reed, appearing weak and ready to fall. Yet God’s saving hand and His purposes continue to unfold. I believe President Donald Trump, the 47th President of the United States, became an instrument in God’s hands. Through God’s power and help, America has experienced a turning point that has drawn the attention of the world. I believe God has done great things for America, restoring the nation to a place of influence, reshaping the world order, magnifying His name, rekindling the fire of the gospel, and turning hearts back to the Lord.

Our final stop was the Pentagon, the headquarters of the Department of Defense. Seeing the enormous five-sided building, with its 28 kilometers (17.5 miles) of corridors, left a strong impression on me. We prayed outside the building, asking God to bless it. I also felt a deep appreciation for the men and women who serve in the military and for the work they do, giving all glory to God. I was reminded that our God is the “Lord of Hosts.” When Jesus was born, the angels and the heavenly host praised God together. In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus said that He could ask the Father to send more than twelve legions of angels to His aid. Throughout the book of Revelation, we see continual spiritual warfare, with the archangel Michael and his angels fighting against Satan and his angels—and Michael is victorious.

When Jesus returns, He will no longer come as the humble sacrificial Lamb but as the victorious King of glory who overcomes completely. Peace comes through victory after battle. Lasting peace requires strength, and peace often comes at a great cost. Our enemy does not seek peace but looks for opportunities to destroy those who are complacent, comfortable, and trusting in a false sense of security. In that sense, the strength of our nation’s defense is closely connected to the safety of its people. As we prayed together, I sincerely thanked God for blessing our Department of Defense with capable military personnel, leaders, the Secretary of Defense, the President, and above all, for being the Commander of our armies who leads us to victory.

After our time of prayer, we headed straight to the airport and flew back to California, arriving home around 11:00 p.m.

The next day, I could hardly get out of bed. My body felt exhausted, and my legs were numb. I realized that one day during the trip I had walked over 22,000 steps—the most I have ever walked in a single day. I thank God for allowing me to spend these few days praying, serving, and living alongside eleven sisters who share the same heart for the Lord. Each of them is gifted in unique ways, and everywhere I looked I could see God’s glory reflected through their lives Praise and thanks be to our Heavenly Father. All glory belongs to Him.

華盛頓DC走禱的三天中，走過很多地方，經過一個個政府部門及許多有历史故事的建築及博物館，對初來乍到的我有很多驚喜，用眼看用耳聽，用心去感受美國250年來的歷史，1776年7月4日，在上帝名下的基督教國家，美國誕生了，歷年來經歷許多風風雨雨，成功失敗都見證了上帝的看顧及管教的手，主盼望美國像一座建造在山上的燈塔照耀全世界，彰顯基督的真理和榮光，使人來認識，遵從耶穌並領受福音的好處，脫離黑暗國度成為天國光明的子民。

我們一起為每個部門祝福，禱告，代求，也逐漸使移民30年的我在情感上有更深的連結及認同。

當我們在白宮參觀時，發現有很多有名的總統為後代子孫有期許的話語，比如有一個就說期盼在白宮治理的人是有一顆智慧和誠實心的人，前面的人展望未來，祝福後來的人，而我們這些後來的人追念先贤們，領受他們的祝福和效法他們愛主的榜樣來珍惜這個國家，一種奇妙的聯結，感動得溼了眼眶。

世上永遠是兩軍相對，黑暗和光明，撒旦與基督，撒旦也化作光明的天使來破壞，攪擾美國政治，社會，用各樣的謊言，伎倆，操弄，欺詐，甚至道德綁架，高舉愛的旗幟，行不義之定罪之事，使良心輭弱之民禁聲，使得美國形如將殘的燈，壓傷的蘆葦，搖搖欲墜。

然而上帝拯救的手和計劃出現了，47屆的總統唐納德，川普，成為神的器皿，藉著上帝的大能幫助，扭轉乾坤，力挽狂瀾，使全世界的眼光都轉向了美國，看上帝為美國行了大事，上帝使美國重新站在山頂上，重塑世界次序，使上帝的名為大，點燃福音的火，使人心歸向主。

我們最後一站來到五角大廈，戰爭部，看到龐大的五角形建築物，裡面走廊長達28公里，我們就在外面為它來祝福禱告，也深以其中的軍人及其所做的事為豪，把榮耀歸給神，想到我們的神是＂萬軍的耶和華＂，耶穌誕生時天使和一大隊天兵齊聲讚美神，耶穌在客西馬尼園時提及他可以請天父為他差遣12營多天使來救祂，啓示錄從頭到末了，就是一直在爭戰，米迦勒天使長同他的天使，和魔鬼和跟從他的天使打仗，米迦勒打贏了…。

最後，耶穌再來時，祂不再是軟弱的代罪羊羔，而是勝了還要再勝的得勝，榮耀君王，經過爭戰才能帶下和平，要有實力才有和平，和平是須付出生命代價的，因為你的對手不但不會講和平，甚至虎視眈眈要把躺臥，安居，舒適的，接受一廂情願虛謊和平的居民消滅，所以戰爭部的的實力，關乎我們個人的安危！在一起禱告時，衷心地感謝上帝，使我們戰爭部有很好的軍人，領袖，部長，總統甚至上帝是我們軍隊的元帥帶領美軍爭戰得勝。（如果一直打敗仗怎麼辦呢？）

祷告結束後即前往飛機場，搭飛機，回到加州的家時已經晚上11點了。

第二天好像起不來，身體虛，腳麻，想到有一天走的步數竟高達22,000步，是我從未有過的紀錄。

感謝神，這几天和有相同心志，愛主且多才多藝的11位姊妹一起走禱，生活，處處看見姊妹身上活出上帝的榮耀，感謝讚美天父，榮耀歸給祂！

Our three-day prayer walk in Washington, D.C. was as intense and tightly packed as a special operations mission. We visited the U.S. Capitol, the White House, major executive and judicial departments, historical landmarks, museums, and the headquarters of major media organizations. At each location, we took time to learn about its significance, gain a deeper understanding, and pray together with one heart.

First, these three days impressed one truth deeply upon me: as we walked and prayed on earth, God’s Spirit was truly with us. At the same time, God was at work in heaven, and throughout the journey I found myself continually growing in my spiritual life. As we walked among the Capitol, the courts, media organizations, and government buildings, the halls, monuments, and statues stood vividly before us rather than existing only as descriptions in our prayer walk preparation materials. What moved me even more was seeing Scripture throughout many of these places—engraved on buildings, depicted in murals, and incorporated into sculptures. It reminded me that our prayers were directed toward the spiritual realm that influences the life and governance of a nation. My perspective also changed throughout the trip. At first, I viewed these places as a tourist visiting famous landmarks. Gradually, however, my heart shifted into the posture of an intercessor standing in the gap for the nation. We were there to pray for the country’s leaders, the direction of its decisions, the advancement of truth, and the establishment of righteousness and justice.

Secondly, being part of this twelve-member prayer walk team allowed me to experience the beauty of unity within the body of Christ. Several sisters on the team had deep spiritual maturity, and through their leadership and care we worked together in every practical aspect of the trip—from preparing before our departure to coordinating schedules, dividing into groups, arranging transportation, managing our time, and meeting the physical demands of the journey. Everyone learned to support one another, fill in where needed, take responsibility, care for each other’s pace, and help steady the team during challenging moments. This was not one person’s journey, but a shared mission accomplished through unity and cooperation. Because of this, prayer took on a much richer meaning. It was no longer simply the voice of one individual, but the united cry of a group seeking God together. The burden was no longer carried alone, but became a shared mission in which each person faithfully contributed their part toward the same purpose.

Finally, I came away with a new appreciation for the importance of physical strength and endurance. Before the trip, I imagined the prayer walk would be similar to the city walks I enjoy—walking through a city while observing its culture, architecture, and scenery. But after participating, I realized that each day’s walking far exceeded any city walk I had ever taken. More importantly, because every day was filled with a clear sense of mission and spiritual responsibility, there was hardly any energy left to pay attention to the city’s other attractions.

This experience reminded me that if I want to serve the Lord faithfully and become a useful instrument in His hands, spiritual growth alone is not enough. I also need a healthy body and sufficient physical strength to carry the mission He entrusts to me. It has encouraged me to pay greater attention to exercising and building my endurance in everyday life so that I will be better prepared to respond to God’s calling and faithfully fulfill His purposes.

三天如“特种兵”般紧凑而充实的DC走祷，我们来到国会、白宫、美国主要行政与司法部门、历史纪念地，博物馆，以及媒体机构所在地，在每一处学习、了解，并同心合意地为之祷告。

首先，这三天让我深深感受到：当我们在地上行走祷告时，神的灵真实地与我们同在，神也正在天上动工，而我自己也在这样的过程中不断经历属灵成长。

当我们穿行于国会、法院、媒体和政府部门之间时，一座座真实的大楼、厅堂与雕像，鲜活地矗立在我们面前，而不是在我们的走祷预备作业中的文字描述。更让我触动的是，我们不断看到圣经的话语在许多建筑上面、在厅堂里的壁画里，在雕塑中。这一切都显明我们祷告呼求的是一个影响国家运行的属灵领域。

我的心态，也从一开始“参观城市地标”的游客视角，逐渐转变为“站在其中为这地代求”的属灵状态 – 我们站立于此，是为国家的领导层、决策方向、真理的运行与公义的建立来祷告！

其次，这次12人的走祷团队，也让我深深体会到“身体合一”的宝贵。团队中有多位属灵根基深厚的姊妹，在她们的带领与照顾下，我们从出发前的预备，到三天中的行程安排、分组、交通、时间协调以及体力挑战等非常实际的事情上彼此配搭、互相扶持。每个人都在学习彼此补位，每个人都承担着责任，照顾他人的节奏，也在关键时刻稳定团队的情绪与方向。这不是一个人的旅程，而是一群人同心同行的配搭与合作。

祷告也因此变得更立体——不再只是个人的声音，而是一个群体同心发出的呼求；不再只是个人的负担，而是大家共同承担的使命。每个人都在同一个方向上忠心摆上自己的一份。

最后，我也很感慨自己的体力与精力。原本我以为走祷会像自己喜欢的City Walk一样，是一种边走边观察、感受城市人文与风景的旅行方式。但真正参与之后才发现，走祷每天的行走距离远远超过以往的City Walk；更重要的是，因为每天都带着明确的使命与属灵负担，几乎没有多余的精力再去留意城市其他的细节。

这也让我更加明白：若想满有信心地为主做工，成为主手中合用的器皿，除了属灵生命的成长，也需要健康的身体与充沛的精力来承载使命。这提醒我，在平时也要更加注重锻炼身体、管理体能，使自己能够更好地回应神的呼召与托付。
