Cambodia, located in Southeast Asia, is home to an ancient civilization. After the 13th century, the country faced long-term aggression from its neighbors, Siam (modern-day Thailand) and Vietnam. In the 19th century, Cambodia became a French protectorate until gaining independence in 1953. Following the 1960s, civil war erupted due to the involvement of global powers, and during the Vietnam War, Cambodia suffered greatly, with its people living in hardship. In 1975, the Khmer Rouge (later known as the Cambodian Communist Party) took control of Phnom Penh, establishing an ultra-left regime characterized by terror and mass killings, including the systematic extermination of intellectuals. During its three years and eight months in power, it is estimated that over 1.5 million people died from famine, forced labor, disease, and persecution. This period remains one of the most horrific man-made disasters of the 20th century. In 1993, Cambodia restored its monarchy and became the Kingdom of Cambodia once again.
Currently, ROLCC has 35 local churches in Cambodia, with Pastor Lim serving as the National Director of the church network. Pastor Lim was born into a traditional, impoverished Buddhist family, and in 2000, he decided to follow the Lord and began actively serving in the church. He earned a degree in theology in 2005 and began his full-time ministry. At a pastoral training meeting in December 2018, he met Pastor Tong Liu, whose message deeply moved him. In March 2019, Pastor Lim and his church leaders officially joined ROLCC.
In January 2020, Pastor Lim planted a daughter church in the capital, Phnom Penh, with a vision to reach the city’s youth. Currently, the church has up to 900 attendees each Sunday, primarily young adults, middle-aged individuals, and college students. However, post-pandemic challenges have affected many members, with unemployment and financial hardships impacting attendance.
Looking ahead to 2024, Pastor Lim hopes to address these challenges by implementing various care initiatives within the church, such as leadership support, one-on-one care, and family and student outreach. Through these services, he aims to strengthen the faith of his congregation and continue to grow the church. In 2025, the domestic economic and political environment will still be unstable. I hope that God can help more people through various gospel plans and lead them to believe in the Lord.

It borders Thailand to the northwest, Laos to the north, Vietnam to the east, and has a coastline along the Gulf of Thailand on the southwest. It spans an area of 181,035 square kilometres (69,898 square miles), and has a population of about 17 million. Its capital and most populous city is Phnom Penh.
柬埔寨位於東南亞，是東南亞的文明古國，在13世紀後一直受到鄰國暹羅（今泰國）與越南的長期侵略。19世紀中又淪為法國保護國，直到1953年脫離法國獨立。1960年後的柬埔寨內部在列強干預下，發生內戰，越戰期間更淪為各方交戰下的犧牲品，國內民不聊生。1975年赤色高棉（後來的柬共）佔領金邊，建立極左政權，實施恐怖統治，屠殺所有的知識分子。在其當政的3年8個月期間，估計有150萬以上的人口死於飢荒，勞役，疾病，迫害。是20世紀最血腥殘暴的人為災害之一。1993年恢復君主制及恢復國名為柬埔寨王國，立憲並實施兩黨議政，但洪森隨即發動政變，控制新政府。並在2018年，強行解散反對黨，使柬埔寨成為一黨專政的獨裁國家。同許多東協的低收入國家一樣，柬埔寨的經濟在過去的十幾年間逐漸的從以農業為主要的產出來源，轉換至工業與服務業。柬埔寨的經濟隨著2023年全球經濟進入衰退，同時國內在觀光產業的成長出於疫情、詐騙事件的影響，也使2024年經濟成長遠不如預期。生命河在當地現有36間分堂，PastorLim是植堂事工的總負責牧師。PastorLim出生於一個傳統且貧困的佛教家庭，他於2000年決志信主，在教會積極服事，於2005年取得神學學位，之後走上全職服事的道路。他於2018年12月在牧者培訓聚會認識當時的講員劉彤牧師，並被劉牧師的信息感動，之後他帶領所有分堂牧者禱告尋求，於2019年3月決定正式加入生命河靈糧堂的大家庭。PastorLim於2020年1月在首都金邊成立一間新的生命河靈糧堂，希望對金邊的年輕族群傳福音。目前教會每週日有高達900人，主要是中青年族群與大學生參與。受到後疫情影響，教會的許多弟兄姊妹也飽受失業或是各種收入問題所困擾，也引此間接影響到教會出席人數。在2024年，因著大家的各種民生問題，柬埔寨分堂將釋出各種關懷計畫，包括領袖關懷、一對一關懷、學生與家庭關懷等等，透過教會服事，希望能夠鞏固弟兄姊妹對神的信心！2025年，國內經濟與政治環境還是不穩定，希望神能透過各種福音計畫，幫助到更多人，也帶領他們信主。

Pray for the border between Cambodia and Thailand. Many parts of the border were not clearly defined after the colonial era. In 2025, the century-old border dispute intensely escalated with military attacks. The current ceasefire has had reports of ceasefire violations.
為柬埔寨與泰國邊界和平禱告 慈愛的神，我們為柬埔寨與泰國之間的邊界爭端向神呼求。自殖民時代以來，邊界未明引發的緊張局勢在2025年加劇，甚至爆發軍事衝突。求神介入，使當前的停火得以穩固。
